How it works

Pad is a launchpad on Pons v2 where every fee gets a job.

What is Pad?

Pad launches tokens through the Pons v2 factory on Robinhood Chain. A creator deploys a token, the public buys it from a bonding curve, and once the curve is bought out the launch graduates into a Uniswap v4 pool whose liquidity is locked permanently.

What Pad adds is the vault. On plain Pons, creator fees go to a wallet. Here they go to a per-token vault with a job chosen at launch: lock liquidity, buy back and burn, pay stakers or holders, run an hourly jackpot, buy a stock for holders, or reward the ones who hold longest. The fees can also be split between up to three jobs.

Launch lifecycle

Create, trade the curve, graduate, pool. There is no path where a creator decides to do something different halfway through. Graduation happens inside whichever purchase finishes the curve. If that automatic step does not complete, anyone can push the launch forward.

Fee engines

At launch you pick one job, or split the fees between two or three. Creator fees land in a vault that belongs to that token. A cycle runs every five minutes for as long as the vault has gas. Before graduation the vault can only buy on the curve; liquidity waits until there is a pool to add it to.

Locked Liquidity

After graduation, every cycle buys the token with half the fees and adds both halves to the Uniswap v4 pool as a full-range position owned by the dead address. Before graduation the fees wait in the vault.

Buyback & Burn

Fees buy the token, on the curve before graduation and in the v4 pool after it, and send every token bought to the dead address. Supply only goes down.

Staking

Holders stake tokens in the vault and are paid the fees pro-rata, in the launch's pair asset. ETH for an ETH launch, the stock token for a stock pair. Unstake whenever you want.

Dividends

Fees are paid to every wallet holding the token, pro-rata to its balance, in the launch's pair asset. No staking, no claim button.

Jackpot

Fees build a pot. Once an hour one holder wins all of it, drawn at random with odds weighted by balance. The pot is paid in the launch's pair asset.

Stock Dividends

Fees buy a tokenized stock or ETF on Uniswap v4, picked at launch, and pay it to every holder pro-rata to their balance. ETH launches only.

Diamond Hands

Dividends weighted by how long each wallet has held. A share grows from 1x to 3x over seven days. Selling or moving tokens resets the clock.

Launching a token

  1. Fill in the details

Upload an image (stored on IPFS), choose a name and symbol, write a description, and optionally add social links.

  2. Pick the pair asset

Native ETH, or any asset Pons has approved: USDG, cbBTC or a tokenised stock such as TSLA or SPY. Buyers pay in it, the pool pairs with it, and the vault pays out in it.

  3. Pick the terms

Choose a fee strategy and, optionally, a creator tax up to the Pons cap. Optionally add an opening buy and team wallets that skip the snipe tax. All of it is fixed at creation, unless you let holders vote on the job.

  4. Sign two transactions

First a little ETH to the token's vault so it can pay gas. Then the launch itself: your wallet pays the Pons launch fee and is the deployer, and the vault is set as the creator fee recipient. With an opening buy the launch goes through the Pons launch-and-buy router in one transaction.

  5. Trade the curve

Anyone can buy and sell against the curve, right from the token page. A snipe tax starts at 99% and decays to zero over five seconds.

  6. Graduate

When the curve sells out, a Uniswap v4 pool is created and its liquidity is locked permanently. If the automatic step stalls, anyone can push graduation forward.

FAQ

Is this Pons v1?

No. Pad launches through the Pons v2 factory. Tokens start on a bonding curve and graduate into a locked Uniswap v4 pool.

Which pair should I pick?

ETH is the default and the simplest. A stock or dollar pair ties the launch to that asset: if TSLA falls, a TSLA-paired token falls with it, and its payouts are in TSLA. The list only offers assets Pons has approved right now.

Who holds the fees?

Each token has its own vault wallet. Pad holds its key encrypted on the server, because the vault has to sign every cycle without you. The token and the launch fee never pass through Pad; the fees do, and every move they make is a public transaction in the token's log.

Is there a platform fee?

No. The whole claim goes to the job you picked. Pons takes its own protocol share before fees reach the vault.

Can I change the strategy, tax or pair later?

No. Pair, creator tax, strategy and graduation terms are fixed at creation. The one exception is the job: at launch you can let holders vote on it.

How does the holder vote work?

If the creator turned it on at launch, holders vote on the token page between locked liquidity, buyback and burn, dividends, the jackpot and Diamond Hands. One wallet, one vote, and the wallet has to hold the token. A vote is a signature, so it costs no gas. Rounds last three hours. When a round ends, the job with the most votes takes over, as long as at least three wallets voted and there is no tie. The switch shows in the token's log. It only works on single-job launches, and not with staking or Stock Dividends.

What happens to fees?

Every five minutes the vault sweeps fees from the curve or pool into the Pons escrow, claims them, and runs the job you picked. Payouts are in the pair asset, except Stock Dividends, which pays in the stock. You do not have to press anything.

How does a split work?

Instead of one job you can give the fees to two or three, each at least 10%. Every cycle the new fees are divided by those percentages and each job keeps its own balance in the vault. A job that waits, like liquidity before graduation or the jackpot until the hour, keeps its share and never loses it to another job. Staking cannot be part of a split.

How is the jackpot winner picked?

Once an hour, in the first cycle after the hour, one holder wins the whole pot. Every token in a wallet is a ticket, so a wallet with 2% of the eligible supply has a 2% chance. The winning ticket comes from the hash of the latest block mixed with the token address and the hour, so nobody chooses it, us included. The vault, the curve, the pool and other contracts cannot win. Every draw is listed on the token page with the odds the winner had.

How does Diamond Hands count holding time?

Payouts go to every holder, weighted by balance times a multiplier. The multiplier starts at 1x with your first buy and rises evenly to 3x after seven days. Buying more keeps your clock. Selling or sending any amount restarts it from the moment of that transfer. Your multiplier and share show on the token page when your wallet is connected.

How do Stock Dividends work?

The creator picks one stock at launch, such as NVDA or SPY. Every cycle the vault swaps its fees for that stock on Uniswap v4 and sends it to holders pro rata, so holders end up with the actual stock token in their wallet. It is available on ETH launches only.

What if someone takes over the token?

Pons lets the community move the creator fee recipient after a delay. If that happens, fees stop reaching the vault and the strategy stops. The token page warns while a takeover is pending and once fees point elsewhere.

Can the liquidity be pulled after graduation?

No. The graduation pool is locked by Pons, and the positions the liquidity strategy adds are owned by the dead address. Not you, not Pons, not us.
